Benefits of Bamboo
1. Exceptionally soft
Bamboo fabric is incredibly smooth and luxuriously comfortable, you won’t want to wear anything else ever again.
2. Thermo-regulating
Bamboo fabric is filled with micro-gaps and micro-holes which makes is super breathable, so it never sticks to the skin in hot weather. It truly is the perfect option for travelling as it will keep you cool when the weather is warm (around 2-3 degrees cooler).
3. Moisture wicking
Bamboo wicks moisture away from the skin. It is 40% more absorbent than even the finest cotton. Its natural breathability quickly absorbs and evaporates sweat, therefore keeping you dry, odour free and extremely comfortable, whatever the temperature may be.
4. Anti-bacterial
Bamboo has unique antibacterial, antifungal and anti-static properties, meaning that even after long hours of wearing the fabric, it will not become smelly. By naturally killing almost all bacteria, bamboo stays fresher and odor free for longer, therefore also more hygienic.
5. UV protective
Bamboo fabric is a great option for sun protection as it cuts out over 90% of the harmful UV rays from the sun, meaning you can safely be outside in comfort and style.
6. Easy care
Bamboo is extremely resilient and durable. Caring for your bamboo shirt is easy because you can machine wash them repeatedly - in cold to warm water with a gentle detergent - without losing the bamboo’s special qualities.
7. Hypoallergenic
Bamboo is a naturally hypoallergenic product grown without the use of chemicals or pesticides, so it resists the spread of bacteria on the skin and does not irritate the skin like most other fabrics do.
8. Eco-friendly
Bamboo is by far the greenest option. It is one of the most sustainable resources as it naturally grows very quickly and requires no harmful pesticides, fertilizers and very little water to grow. Bamboo plants also release a significant amount of oxygen into the atmosphere – 30% more than regular trees. Also, in opposition to synthetics, bamboo is 100% biodegradable.
